The next Education and Events Committee (EEC) webinar will be held Wednesday December 2nd from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
Representatives from Dominion Energy’s Grid Solutions team will provide an update on their program to transition to smart meters. Electric companies across the United States are leveraging smart meter data to better monitor the health of the energy grid, more quickly restore electric service when outages occur, integrate solar and other distributed energy resources, and deliver energy insights to customers. So far in Virginia, Dominion Energy has installed over 600,000 meters, providing numerous customer benefits that will be discussed during this webinar.
