Quarterly meeting of the VEPGA Board of Directors.  All VEPGA members are welcome to attend. Join VAEEC Board members Liz Beardsley (U.S. Green Building Council) and Bryna Dunn (Moseley Architects) for an overview of HB2001, including the requirements and timeline for compliance. VAEEC staff will then facilitate an open discussion about the possible implementation pathways and challenges, resources and support available to meet compliance, and additions or clarifications needed to make the law more suitable for Virginia's local governments. Join VEPGA for an educational webinar on the status of smart meter deployment in Virginia, and how to use the information they can provide. Robin Massanopoli, Manager of Metering Solutions at Dominion Energy, will provide an update on the installation of smart meters in Virginia, and will explain what their capabilities are compared to traditional meters. The Virginia Clean Energy Summit will present the clean energy technologies, policies, and business practices that are transforming Virginia's energy landscape today.  The event is currently planned to be held in person in Richmond, VA. The goal of the Summit is to highlight opportunities and encourage collaboration that speeds our use of more energy efficiency, solar, wind, storage, EVs, and other clean energy solutions. Virginia Energy Efficiency Council's Fall 2022 Forum. This interactive event will provide timely presentations, the annual Leadership Awards ceremony, an industry trade show, and ample networking. October 31st will be virtual, and November 1st will be in-person at the Jepson Alumni Center at University of Richmond. VAEEC is accepting applications for the Virginia Energy Efficiency Leadership Awards from July 1st through September 1st.  Award winners will be celebrated at the Forum event.
